Extract Hydrogen from Water

July 3rd, 2008 Posted in DYI (Do-It-Yourself), Experimental | No Comments »

This method of water electrolysis is based on generation of electrical square impulses at a given frequency. I will test this kind of device myself and if it really works I will publish on this site the exact frequency you need to separate H2 from O. It has been done by Stanley Meyer, who got his patent on this system, and now it is being blogged all around the world as the “water car fuel” system. Although classic science doesn’t believe this, and you’ll

‘Defective’ Nanostructures Make Breaking Water to Extract Hydrogen Easier

July 3rd, 2008 Posted in DYI (Do-It-Yourself), Experimental, General, Uncategorized | No Comments »

Scientists at North Carolina State University have discovered a nanoscale method for extracting hydrogen from water that requires only half the energy of current hydrogen production methods.

The researchers discovered that “defective” carbon nanotubes make it easier to “break” water molecules and extract hydrogen.

The discovery could have big implications, namely, lower hydrogen production costs, for industries looking to hydrogen as an alternative fuel.

The scientists – NC State Department of Physics professor Dr. Marco Buongiorno-Nardelli; Dr. Keith Gubbins, W.H. Clark Distinguished University Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering; post-doctoral researcher Milen Kostov; and students Erik Santiso and Aaron George – published their results in the Sept. 30 edition of Physical Review Letters.

Run your car on water

July 3rd, 2008 Posted in DYI (Do-It-Yourself), Experimental, Hydrogen Vehicles | No Comments »

adhydrogen_21

The United Nuclear Hydrogen Fuel System Kit converts your existing vehicle to run on Hydrogen.

Complete hydrogen conversion kits will soon be available for various late-model cars & trucks as well as individual system components for those who choose to assemble their own kits.

Included in the kits (and also available separately) is our solar powered Hydrogen Generator that manufactures the Hydrogen fuel for your vehicle at virtually zero cost. Simply put, you never have to buy Gasoline again.

Since there are no major changes made to your engine, you can still run your vehicle on Gasoline at any time.

We now have over 50,000 trouble-free miles on our prototype vehicles which are using hydrogen conversion kits. We are currently fleet-testing our systems and are in final preparation for sales to the general public.

OH WAIT THE US GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO CLOSE THE COMPANY DOWN… WHY IN THE HELL????

We’ve found some good resources here and also right here.

General Motors is making strides in the alternative fuel vehicle market, but none of these vehicles has gotten more press or excitement than the H2H Hummer SUT (Sport Utility Truck). This bold experimental vehicle runs on hydrogen and its waste emission is water vapor. On October 14, 2004, GM rolled out this modified H2H Hummer with the help of California’s governor to demonstrate not only the viability of hydrogen fuel but also the environmental and economic factors as well.

Why Hydrogen?

July 3rd, 2008 Posted in Benefits of Hydrogen, General | No Comments »

While the fossil-fuel era enters its sunset years, a new energy regime is being born that has the potential to remake civilization along radically new lines–hydrogen. Hydrogen is the most basic and ubiquitous element in the universe. It never runs out and produces no harmful CO2 emissions when burned; the only byproducts are heat and pure water. That is why it’s been called “the forever fuel.”

– Article continues below –

Hydrogen has the potential to end the world’s reliance on oil. Switching to hydrogen and creating a decentralized power grid would also be the best assurance against terrorist attacks aimed at disrupting the national power grid and energy infrastructure. Moreover, hydrogen power will dramatically reduce carbon dioxide emissions and mitigate the effects of global warming. In the long run, the hydrogen-powered economy will fundamentally change the very nature of our market, political and social institutions, just as coal and steam power did at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

Honda FCX Clarity - Hydrogen Powered

Honda FCX Clarity - Hydrogen Powered

The most distinctive feature of the FCX Clarity—other than the fuel cell itself—is the streamlined layout made possible by its compact and efficient powertrain components.
The fuel cell combines hydrogen with oxygen to make electricity. The electricity then powers the electric motor, which in turn propels the vehicle. Water is the only byproduct the FCX Clarity leaves behind.
Roll over the numbered steps to learn about each stage of the process.
1. Hydrogen tank – Stores hydrogen
2. V Flow fuel cell stack – Generates electricity
3. Lithium-ion battery – Stores electricity
4. Power Drive Unit (PDU) – Governs electrical flow
5. Electric drive motor – Propels vehicle
